My church in East London has just started a Christian book exchange to complement the book stall. You may have seen similar things in some cafes. Basically if you have any Christian books you don’t think you’ll need any more, you just bring them along and dump them in the box. Anyone can then have a rummage around and take any book they like the look.
Of course, this is a fat lot of good to most of you, as you don’t go to the same church as me. However I think its a great idea and worth implementing in all churches. It is a great way to ensure powerful books are not left festering on our shelves where they will never be read again. So what are waiting for, do it in your church now!
