my co teacher introduced don moen songs to me and to our colleagues. I started to appreciate God.before i was agnostic and i am really thankful that dons songs were an instrument for me to know God more.

Talk of an inspirational song writer of this century and I wouldnt hesitate to point out Don Moen. He may not know that deep in the bushes of Kenya there is a darling to his songs but I believe that the Almighty blesses him as he also become a blessing to many like me.
His songs really helped my spiritual growth more so to deeply understand the importance of worship and doing it with the deepest passion.

The first time i heard ‘hear us fro heaven’ in 2006 i cried and many tears came rolling down my cheeks. At that time i was going through divorce and i could not help but find comfort in the soothing lyrics of this all inspiring song. For me it happens to be one of my favourite songs now and forever! Dear Lovers of Don Moen, I dont want to and wont care to know how deep is your love for Don’s songs but I will only be happy to know you are realy serving Yehovah the father of our Lord Yeshuah Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) well.
If you see Don please help me ask him to explain these phrases in his songs like: ”If you run to Him, He will run to you” what does he mean by those nonesensical words of he’s? Who is Don speaking of? God or a god. The Christian Yehovah the true God does not run and He will never have to or run because He Yahweh has no problem with distance, so it is logically best to understand that ‘he will run’ or that god of Don Moen in this sense of running as a dog. Or have you find that in a book where God ran. No. You will never be able to find such a book in the world. If Don is meaning a god thats right ‘i have made you too small in my eyes’ could it be the proper recognition of that his god? Where have you read of a running God in the scriptures if at all you read it enough to know where? Is YHWH not everywhere? Is He limited by distance? I have finally settled with myself not to listen to Don without his explainatio of of those arguments I have emphasized. Read the Psalms in the Bible. They are the best songs you will ever hear. The New Testament prophets still prescribed the Psalms and if you think they are too old for you then you simply need to get you a new god maybe such that can run like a dog or like that Don’s god. But any god before Yahweh is an agent of satan the devil. Leave Don’s double meaning songs and cling to the Biblical Psalms where you can hear God Himself singing through David and follow the pattern. Thanks
