The Resurgence website are providing free audio and video of the Biblical Parenting Conference that was presented by Tedd Trip. Tedd Trip is well known for being the author of ‘Shepherding a Child’s Heart’, ‘Instructing a Child’s Heart’ and ‘Shepherding a Child’s Heart: Parent’s Handbook’ so is well placed to run this series of talks.
It can be easy to get stuck in routines with our children, so this is a great opportunity to remind ourselves of how to bring them up in a Christian home.

I’m sure anyone involved in youth ministry will know the dilemma of trying to come up with new games each week! This is where Youth Games comes in handy with a selection of games specifically for this purpose. The explanations for the games are very clear and you can also rate the games or leave comments.
You can search by several criteria including:
- Age
- Group size
- Space available
- Duration
- Other features (such as low cost, messy and so on)
The ability to search by so many criteria help to make sure you don’t just read through a long list of games that aren’t applicable to your needs. There is also the opportunity to add new games to their website, so hopefully more and more games will be added over the coming years.
All in all this website does what it aims to do really well, and as more games get added it will get better and better.

Two new pages have been added to free Christian resources to show the best websites for children and youth/teenacgers. These pages will include both Christian websites for kids and teenagers, as well as websites for those running outreach events for those under the age of twenty.
There are a few websites already added, but expect this to grow considerably over the coming months! If you know of any good websites for these areas (or indeed any aspect of Christian life) then please let me know.

The DJ TV Club is aimed at providing children aged 6 to 10 with a fun way to learn the bible and grow closer to Jesus. What sets it apart from many websites is that you can sign up for a free DJ Club pack which will be posted to your house. The DJ Club is produced and provided by Inspiration Networks. They also produce TV programs that are shown on INSP, iLifetv, LaFamilia and INI.
The Inspiration Networks goal is:
To bring children to Christ, to help Christian children grow into mature Christian teenagers and adults, and to apply the truths of God and learn to “Depend on Jesus”.
DJ Club kit
By joining the club you will receive the pack of items that I have photographed to the right. It includes a notebook, stickers, code of conduct the DJ Decoder book as well as some other items. All are produced to a high quality and the DJ Decoder book is definitely worth ordering (free!) for children. It is packed with games, stories and help on how to life a Christian life by depending on Jesus.
The website
As well as the great DJ Club Kit the website also has lots of fun content. You can watch some of the TV programs online, although as you’d expect you probably need broadband to achieve this. There are free games and activities that you can print off and complete away from the computer too. You can also read some bible stories and devotions online.
Everything is very well produced and it is cool that Inspiration Networks are giving away so much of it free to help them achieve their goals.

ChristrianCliparts.Net is a fantastic little website. There are just over 100 clip art pictures and also five videos currently (all of which are in a cartoon format). The fact that they are in the same format is good if you are looking for a similar style or look for whatever medium you are using them for. This also helped by the fact the images are produced to a very high quality and are also very distinctive and different from most of the other Christian clip-art available on the internet.
Clip art
All of the images are in the same style, and all cover key parts of the new testament (e.g. The Empty Tomb, I am the way, Peter disowned Jesus). You can see the style of images below (click on them to get the full sized image).
Videos
There are five videos including “Did Jesus really rise from the dead?” and “The Power of Prayer”.
The videos are cartoons, and like the clip art they are very well produced. They take a little time to load depending on your internet set-up but once they have loaded they are very smooth.
Other content
There is also a little memory game and quiz about the apostles. It is a fun and slickly presented quiz and probably aimed at kids around age of ten.
Presentation and usage
It is easy to browse the site, and quick too apart from loading the videos. There is also a keyword search which is handy if you are after a specific character or story.
Summary
The only thing that would improve this website would be more images and clip-art. However the images that are here are of a superb quality. The images would be particularly suited to any kind of youth work.

Christ Art has recently published some ready to print hand-outs that they say are “great for Sunday school, street evangelism, stuffing fun bags or as coloring sheets”. All you have to do to is become a member which is free, or a supporting member which is $3 per month.
The 209 handouts cover a wide selection of sixteen areas, including:
- How to be saved
- Testimony
- Creationism
- Bible Stories
I agree that these would be particularly good for Sunday Schools, as well as Kids Clubs and other youth outreach events. If you are interested in other content on the Christ Art site then check out my review.

Answer in Genesis have added a whole new section to their website with articles focused on apologetics for children. It is a beautiful website and the quality of the design is instantly apparent.
Many of the articles focus on showing God’s glory through nature. There are also lots of games, some which you play online and others which you can print off and do away from the computer. On top of that they also have some videos with the current main one being ‘Dangerous Journey’ which is an animation based on Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress.
