Following the lead of Desiring God, Sovereign Grace Ministires have made all of their mp3 sermons available free for download! Sovereign Grace are non-denominational and prefer to think of themselves as a family of Churches passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ. This passion comes through in their sermons.

The reason that there was a severe reduction in the number of posts over the last two or so weeks is that I had been asked to do a sermon at my Church. I was surprised just how much time it takes to pull together a forty five minute talk! It struck me that a lot of the things that helped me most are mentioned on this website.

Of course, what really helped me the most was God! Without His help and guidance it would have been a dull and pitiful preach. And secondly, my pastor’s guidance and feedback was vital. Assuming that these are a given though, what else did I find the most useful? When I had got the basic framework of what God wanted me to bring what helped me to pull it together?

There has been another collection of sermons added to the Desiring God website. According to the Desiring God Blog, “Every two years John Piper completes a rotation of weekend seminars on different aspects of Christian doctrine and practice.”

Newfrontiers is a worldwide family of churches numbering around 500 churches in over 40 nations around the world. The main content on this site is free preaches from conferences to build up the church covering topics such as prophecy, leadership skills, preaching, running alpha, living holy lives and just about everything else you can think of!

I recently reviewed the Desiring God website, but since then they’ve added yet more content! They have now created two YouTube accounts and are beginning to post short clips. As it is new, there is not loads of videos to look at, however I was impressed by the quality. You can see one of the videos below:

If Philip Yancey wanted to know what was so amazing about grace then this preach would be a good place to start. It is an inspiring talk, and well worth listening to.
