Free Devotions of Saint Anselm now at CCEL

ccel logoThe devotions of Saint Anselm have recently been added to the The Christian Classics Ethereal Library. Saint Anselm was born near the border between what are now Italy and France (Aosta, Piedmont). He became the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1093, and is considered by many to be one of the most influential thinkers of medieval Europe and Christianity. Anselm was passionate that faith in God could be explained through reason and his motto was credo ut intelligam (“I believe so that I may understand”).

all about God – apologetics review

All About God is site dedicated to “reach out to skeptics, seekers, believers, and a hurting world with powerful evidence for God and the Good News of Jesus”. In essence, for the majority of their key content, this means it is focused towards answering questions to prove the existence of God, or importance of Jesus.

The word for today – devotional review

This is a good quality daily devotional, and unlike some of the older great devotionals (e.g. My Utmost for his Highest) you know it will be a new message each day of your life. Perhaps not as theologically strong or deep as Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening, it is nonetheless regularly challenging and easy to understand.
